Successful people are simply those with successful habits. — Brian Tracy
I love to try what people are trying to go ahead in life. For example, I picked the following simple habits from a Twitter thread. Credit: @TeodorZrinski
Walk barefoot
Clean your tongue
Eat garlic before sleep
Name your daily 5 wins
Stop arguing
Walking barefoot:
When I lived in a village next to the lush green fields, my mother sent us every morning to walk on the grass to beat the heat. I did not know what the benefits of walking barefoot were, but I really enjoyed simply walking. Here are a couple of advantages to walking barefoot.
- Better posture
- Reduce stress
- Improve overall balance
- Help to reduce joint pain
Cleaning your tongue:
It’s just in our DNA to brush our teeth at least twice a day. Each morning I just grab the brush to clean my teeth.
Since I picked this habit, I cleaned my tongue daily. I would like to share that cleaning tongue regularly has many health benefits. For example:
- Of course, to remove bacteria
- Help to reduce bad breath
- Improve oral hygiene
- Help to strengthen the immune system
- Better taste
Eating garlic before sleep:
I tried this one. However, I didn’t like it. A simple Google search will help you a lot that garlic clove has tremendous health benefits. I am sharing it because of its healthy properties. For example:
- Helps to sleep better (Magnesium)
- Helps with colds and flu
- Helps to lower cholesterol
- Garlic is pretty good for men because of its anti-inflammatory effects
- Helps in weight loss
Naming your daily 5 wins:
Focusing on the positive aspects of your day can help improve your mood and overall well-being.
It takes more work to even write down merely 5 wins for the day. I learned in the long run that it has its own benefits. For example:
- It helps to build a healthy habit
- Maybe connecting with friends and family
- Did you learn something new?
- Did you accomplish your most important task?
Stopping arguing:
Arguments can be stressful and emotionally draining.
Learning to let go of the need to argue and instead seek to understand others’ points of view can lead to a happy life. For example:
- It helps to improve relationships.
- Boost productivity
- A great way to improve your mental health
- It can help to enhance your problem-solving skills.
- Tiny arguments are good for your relationship.
The bottom line
your body holds deep wisdom. Trust in it. Learn from it. Nourish it. Watch your life transform and be healthy. — Bella Bleue
If you truly want to see the benefits, I highly recommend trying the 5 secrets for at least 3–4 weeks. You are not going to see any tangible results within a couple of days.
If you see healthy benefits, try to stick with them for life.
