There is no downside to a side hustle. There are only benefits to building more than one source of income. — Forbes
The article is going to help you in two ways. These two things are the backbone of making money online.
- It will help you to work independent of time.
- It will also help you work independent of space.
Most readers know me as an experimental guy who loves to test products and habits for 30 days and then share his journey with the audience to implement in their lives.
Making money online is not new; everyone wants the comfort of working from a laptop, an internet connection, and a cozy place anywhere in the world to make money.
I have been making money online (MMO) since 2016, and if someone gives you some quick-rich scheme, run as fast as you can in the opposite direction.
There is no shortcut to success. You must work hard, learn the craft, and always be humble to give it back.
I have more failed projects in my pipeline than successful ones, all through the trial-and-error methods. However, a successful side hustle has the power to overcome all the failures.
Therefore, there is nothing wrong with starting with one hustle and, if it’s not working out, jumping on another one.
MMO was my dream to make at least $100 while sleeping, which I accomplished long ago. Now, I am making a healthy total time income from online sources.
If you want financial freedom and are looking for new ways to make money in your spare time, this article is for you.
Last week, based on my strategies, I also shared a story on making passive income and 7 proven ways to make passive income. Here are 25+ ways I am sharing with you to make money online.
1-Writing
The first and most important hustle is to write; you love reading, and that’s why you are on this platform. Therefore, it’s possible to start it as your side hustle and then make a living by doing consistent work.
There are many writing platforms; however, I suggest the following. If I have to pick, I will pick Medium.
i) Medium
ii) Vocal
iii) NewsBreak
iv) Substack
In the beginning, you don’t need to worry about the niche; just start writing.
As soon as you polish your writing, and based on your previous article’s stats, maybe pick a niche and devote more time. It could be personal finance, productivity, traveling, technology, politics, fiction, etc.
The more you produce content in a particular niche, the more you will establish yourself as a professional writer.
2- Airbnb
Airbnb is a lucrative option if you have a spare bed or property to rent out in the city or even a beach house that you rarely use.
Many people are making money by renting their extra bedrooms over Airbnb.
I have a couple of Airbnb’s, and they sometimes make more than my full-time job. However, making money on Airbnb completely depends on location.
The best part is you can control when your place is available. You can rent every month and also in per night like hotels.
You can use this Airbnb link to sign up; after your first stay, you will get an extra $13 as a referral.
3-Etsy
I never used those platforms, but there are plenty of success stories.
If you enjoy arts and crafts, it may be a great idea to sell on Etsy. Etsy sells homemade products. Millions of people visit Etsy to buy homemade products or organic stuff.
Here is an excellent article to read before you join Etsy.

Working on Fiverr or Upwork has the advantage of allowing you to work for yourself. Like Etsy, many people visit Fiverr and Upwork to find people like you to get the work done.

Facebook ads are another lucrative side hustle to start. All you need to do is learn the craft; there are many free YouTube tutorials.
