I don’t believe when people say that you only live once.
Living is directly related to experiences. More experiences means multiple lives.
It also reminds me of the following quote. It’s so close to you if you are a voracious reader.
A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, said Jojen. The man who never reads lives only one.― George R.R. Martin
I truly believe that you die once, and before the time comes, why not we should try to live more, more, and more?
Here are the top 17 things you should give a try this year.
After all, time will pass, and you won’t be able to get the same energy back.
1- Be the best this year. Let’s say you are thinking of getting the best body. Now is the right time.
2- Get a pet. Stop that long time thinking about what will happen if you change your job or even get laid off. A pet means true happiness.
4- Do 30 days challenges. If you don’t like the gym, it’s fine. But what if you give it a try and go for a long walk for merely 30 days?
I have 29 30-day challenges and will share my experiential journey in this article. You can pick any one of them and start your journey.
List of 30-Day Challenges You Can Start Today
5- This one is especially for you if you have gained weight and you are also 30+.
Find that old pair of jeans or suit and get the same waist size as you used to be. It’s not going to be an easy task.
6- Don’t put that business you always wanted to do on hold.
For example, I wanted to build my own website for the past couple of years.
This year, I made sure the blog is ready. Here is my blog, and it is in a pretty rough shape at the moment — sufyanmaan.com
7- Swim naked, no question; give it a try, preferably not alone. lol
8- Hire a virtual assistant to take the burden off your shoulders. They are great and can help a lot to add extra hours back to your schedule.
9- Go for that train trip you always used to think about. I wanted to do a train trip across Canada; it’s on my radar this year.
10- If you want to visit a particular place or country and it has just been there in your mind for a long time, it’s the right time to execute the thought process.
For example, it got stuck in my brain that I wanted to visit Iceland to boil eggs on Earth (natural heat). You guessed it correctly. It’s on the list this year.
11- Do an overnight hike, set up a tent, and cook in the light of candles; it’s just a different experience; cuddle your partner in the tent, and you will cherish those moments your whole life.
12- If you love traveling, I recommend spending 1–2 weeks in the local community to enjoy the authenticity of the culture.
13- Buy more books than you can read; it is called anti-library and makes you humble that there is too much knowledge you won’t know.
14- Go on a long road trip from one side of the country to the other and make stops in the local communities along the way.
15- This one is so cool; take a taxi, go to the airport, and take the next available flight, then spend 2–3 days in the local community. It’s the adventure of spontaneity.
16- Ride a horse. I am fortunate that I had that experience last week. I was watching the Yellowstone show when that memory came back to buy a ranch and get a couple of horses. They are the best pets. So loyal.
17- May take those vacation days and relax — absolutely doing nothing, just a book, a cup of coffee, and relaxation next to the water
I wrote another article last year about doing 57 things at least once in life. Doing 57 things in a year is a massive goal; therefore, I picked the 17 that are more interesting.
Thank you for reading; I wish you a happy and healthy life.
